“Peter Obi can only become president in Igboland, Nigeria is too big for him to handle” – Kashim Shettima

The former governor of Borno state who is currently the running mate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima said that “Nigeria is too big for Peter Obi to handle, He can only become president in Igboland”.

Kashim Shettima made this known yesterday during an interview on Channels TV’s politics today. He stated that Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, lacks the competent and political experience to rule a country like Nigeria.

He added that Peter Obi is politically baseless, structureless, and also lacks the needed experience compare to Muhammadu Buhari who is currently the president of Nigeria, and the incoming president, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu.

According to Kashim Shitima, a country like Nigeria should be ruled by someone with sufficient skills, knowledge, ability, or qualifications. Peter Obi neither has leadership qualities nor experience.
