The vice presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima Mustapha during a speech said that he wants to pay a tribute to the 30 Bishops of the Christian faith who took their precious time and associate with him at the unveiling ceremony.
Kashim Shettima who was chosen to be the presidential running mate of Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress was officially unveiled yesterday.
This event reportedly featured Christian clergymen and women that officially attended the unveiling in honor of the ceremony.
However, this ceremony has thrown to confusion as the Bishops were confirmed as fake. According to the news circulating, these people were rather hired by the APC to dress like Bishops and attend the ceremony.
Many people confirmed the identity of these fake Bishops, some were even identifying their respective residents. This got a lot of people questioning the agenda that the APC party has that is leading them to such an act.
As we all know the Muslim-Muslim ticket agenda of the All Progressive Congress has caused mixed reactions in the country. The president aspirant in the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Muslim, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima Mustapha is also a Muslim.
The video of Kashim Shettima paying a tribute to these fake Bishops was also posted by a human activist, Reno Omokri. In his words, “The fake bishops were arranged by Shettima, not Tinubu. Watch this video. Notice Shettima said “I want to pay tribute to 30 bishops”. How did he know their number? He sat on the podium. Did he count them? The only way he could have known is because he arranged it!”.
